Introducing Retail City, a cutting-edge shopping and cultural complex set to redefine Delhi’s urban landscape. Located in Indirapuram, this innovative project will feature a central spine road for seamless access, security checkpoints, and convenient drop-off zones.

Retail City’s design emphasizes a cohesive aesthetic between its two buildings, blending modern architecture with functional spaces. The side roads will be exclusive for residential use, ensuring privacy while maintaining connectivity.

The organic, tiered stepping of the massing and façade is carefully calibrated to shape movement through the scheme, intuitively drawing pedestrians along a sequence of unfolding spaces. This stratified form creates a legible hierarchy, where a clear central artery anchors the experience, framing long views out to the wider urban fabric and reinforcing connectivity with the surrounding city. Programmatically, the building is anchored by a vibrant retail “heart street” that forms the primary spine of activity and movement. From this central artery, a series of carefully curated offshoots branch out, hosting F&B destinations and larger ancillary interventions that enrich the overall offer.

Among these, bespoke plug-ins such as a locally rooted brewery are seamlessly stitched into the fabric of the scheme, extending into a bar that capitalises on elevated views across the Delhi skyline. This layering of uses creates a dynamic, mixed-use environment, where retail, leisure and social spaces interweave to drive dwell time, activate edges, and establish the development as a compelling urban destination.

The initial concept section is driven by a tiered arrangement of levels that responds directly to the existing planes across the site, stitching them together into a cohesive and legible whole. This calibrated stepping enables seamless movement of footfall between different datum points, reducing level changes into a series of intuitive, walkable transitions.

As the groundscape folds and terraces, it not only connects but also shelters—projecting over key routes to provide moments of shading and climatic comfort along the urban walkways. The result is a layered public realm that supports fluid circulation while enhancing the pedestrian experience, balancing connectivity with moments of pause and protection as people move through the site.
