Our proposal for Rye Lane is a significant development that embodies our commitment to innovative, with sustainable architecture transforming of a single-storey commercial site into a vibrant boutique hotel, reflecting the dynamic spirit of Peckham’s Rye Lane.
Rye Lane is known for its edgy and eclectic mix of independent businesses, cultural diversity, and a unique architectural landscape. Our project seeks to honor and enhance this character by introducing a thoughtfully designed structure that will contribute positively to the area’s urban fabric. The development will replace the existing single-storey building with a modern four-storey hotel, complete with a set-back top floor that complements the surrounding skyline while maximising the site’s potential.
DFA has meticulously planned every aspect to ensure that the new building is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally responsible. The design incorporates passive strategies to optimise energy efficiency, such as natural ventilation and solar gain.
As we move forward with the construction phases, we are excited to see how this project will unfold and the positive impact it will have on Rye Lane.
